Welcome to Little Light Log Cabin
Our journey began with a simple dream, to live off the land and educate our children with purpose, curiosity, and love. What started on a 5-acre ranch with over 70 animals, 90 homeschool students attending weekly, agriculture workshops, and an exchange program—has grown into something even deeper.
Today, on our 1.3-acre homestead and expanding schoolhouse in Utah, we remain firmly rooted in faith, family, and hands-on learning.
Today, Little Light Log Cabin is more than a place it’s a movement toward wholehearted education. As a nonprofit Christian school we offer a rich, relational education designed to ignite wonder and cultivate wisdom in every child. Our 4,800 sq. ft. schoolhouse and surrounding farm provide a natural setting for students to grow through meaningful, immersive experiences.
Our program is centered around the belief that each child is a whole person created by God with purpose, potential, and a light within. We seek to nurture that light through:
- Living books and literature
- Nature study and science
- Language arts and mathematics
- Agriculture and animal care
- Handicrafts, speech, and entrepreneurship
- Outdoor play and project-based learning
- Deep spiritual formation rooted in Christian values
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
– Psalm 119:105
This verse serves as both our inspiration and our guiding principle. At Little Light Log Cabin, we walk in the light of God’s truth, trusting Him to illuminate the path for each student’s journey.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian school, we are committed to fostering a community where families grow together in faith, virtue, and joyful learning.
Love,
Little Light Log Cabin
